The 6th day of Christmas...

I saw my childhood BFF and her cute kidlings. Off we went for an urban hike, walkable from her house! I love urban hikes and this was no exception. The kids had a great time and I enjoyed walking along the eucalyptus trees which are so abundant around here.

Then we had to part ways from our pals. Sad face.

Tomorrow we head home. There is never enough time in San Francisco and I felt that way even when I was here for almost a month last summer! It's hard balancing quality time with family, friends and taking in all the sights (and food) the best city ever has to offer (and yes, I might be a bit biased).

I think this is probably my first trip home where I didn't go to the beach which is a quick 5 minute drive from my parent's house. But I did get to eat at my favorite Mexican place, see the Christmas Tree at Union Square and embarrass my sister by having them sing happy birthday to her at Chevy's tonight ;)
