Snow yo!
The boys have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of winter's first snow. They were slightly distraught regarding the lack of snow on Christmas. I think today's snowfall may have compensated for that slight.
Hike to the beach? Why the heck not. It was a fun, snowy walk down.
The view from the beach was beautiful and it was wonderfully deserted.
And then my toes were frozen so we hiked back. I was not wearing the proper shoes and G told me that I have now learned my lesson. Thanks, kid.
Despite my frozen toes, it took me & G some time to get back as he was rolling a snow ball up the hill-- by the end it was 3x larger than this and we had to abandon it because it was a very heavy ball of ice. And did I mention my freezing toes?
And we were welcomed home with a snowball fight.
What a fun afternoon! Hopefully my commute to work won't be snow dramatic...and I was hoping to go early to get a jump start on a busy week. And wear a silk dress which may not be a good idea.
